Private label eco tableware: OEM branding and MOQ answers

Wrapped cutlery kit for private label eco tableware programmes

Private label eco tableware is how an operator turns a generic plate into part of the brand. The questions that follow are practical: how does a logo go onto a moulded fibre piece, what packaging options exist, what does a custom shape involve, and how are minimum order quantities and lead times handled. Here is how it works with us.

The short answer

  • A brand can go on the piece itself, on a sleeve or label, or on the outer packaging.
  • A new shape runs through the custom mould programme: seven days to sample, thirty days to production.
  • Your MOQ is confirmed in the quotation, samples go out on request, and replies come within one business day.

What private label eco tableware covers

Private label covers the whole presentation of a piece, not just a logo. It runs across three layers: the piece, the wrapping, and the outer pack. Each does a different job. The piece carries the brand at the point of service, the wrapping carries hygiene and portioning, and the outer pack carries the story that reaches the shelf or the kitchen. Our OEM custom mould programme builds across all three, so a programme can brand a range without running three separate suppliers.

Getting the logo onto the piece

For moulded fibre there are a few routes, and the right one depends on the look and the volume:

  • Moulded in. The mark is built into the mould so it is part of the piece, raised or recessed into the surface. This is the most durable option and the one that reads as premium, because there is nothing to wear off in service.
  • Sleeve or label. A printed wrap or sticker around the piece, which suits wrapped cutlery kits and lower volumes where the artwork changes often or varies by campaign.
  • Printed finish. For some formats a printed mark sits on the surface; tell us the piece and we will confirm what holds up best against grease, heat and handling.

The matte, moulded surface of bagasse takes a mark cleanly, which is why the material suits branded food service and retail packs, and why the brand shows up best when the design works with the texture rather than against it.

Packaging options

Packaging is where hygiene and branding meet. Individually wrapped cutlery kits suit airline, catering and hygiene-critical service, and the wrap is prime space for a logo and a portion count. Kraft and bulk formats suit everyday restaurant and takeaway, where the brand lives on the piece and the outer carton and the priority is cost per unit and stacking strength for delivery. Tell us the service and we will match the packing to it, from single wrapped pieces to bulk cartons for a delivery programme.

The custom mould route, and the numbers

If the shape does not exist yet, the custom mould programme runs from drawing to first sample in seven days, and from an approved sample to production in thirty days. What we need from you is a drawing, dimensions and the intended use; the custom mould guide covers the stage-by-stage timeline and why the mould matters more than the drawing for a consistent piece. Everything else follows the standard flow, so there are no surprises once the artwork is agreed.

Your MOQ is confirmed in the quotation rather than guessed at, samples go out on request, catalogue lead times are confirmed with every quote, and you hear back within one business day. The full ordering flow is in how ordering works, so you can plan the brand launch around real dates rather than a hopeful range.

Browse the six collections and 126 pieces to see the base formats you can brand, and the catalogue tour explains how the range is organised and which collection suits which service.
